Golf Tournament - June 9, 2012
The PPWC Social Committee is hosting a golf tournament. Sign up sheets will be located on the bullentin boards, or can be sent via e-mail to the webmaster. This tournament is open to past and present members along with their spouses. Please specify names, number of people and dinner choices in sign up e-mail.
BBQ and Dance-CANCELLED
The Mill Social Club is hosting the Annual BBQ and Dance on May 12 at the Wasa Hall. Please phone the mill for further information, or check back here as I will be posting more information as I get it.
The BBQ and Dance has been cancelled as not enough people were signed up by the deadline.
Quarterly Info Sessions
Chris Black, who is replacing Randy Fournier, will be attending the Quarterly info sessions. We are hoping for a strong turn out by the membership, so please attend if you are able.

The voting for the National Treasurer will take place on April 26 to the 29. Please see the posters around the mill for information.
R-Day Arbitration
The R-Day Arbitration has been completed and the resulting decision can be viewed on the site's documents page.
Easter Egg Hunt & BBQ
On March 31st, 2012 the PPWC Social Committee will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and BBQ. The event will take place at the Wasa Lions grounds from Noon to 2pm.
The cost for member's children is $5/child, non member children will be $10/child.
There are posters located on the bulletin boards at the mill, and a sign up sheet will be on the maintenance bulletin board. All children must be signed up by March 23, 2012. For those people who cannot sign up at the mill, you can e-mail your sign up to Tammy Templeton. Please include the number of children who will be attending.
Another Shop Steward Course?
Those who are interested in another Shop Steward training course, please let Mike Scott or Jeremy Christensen know. Once there are enough people signed up, another class can be scheduled.
National Website
The national has redesigned their website. It will be online February 13, 2012. Go take a look at ppwc.ca
Shop Steward Course
Shop Steward course begins at 9 am at the PPWC Local 15 Union Hall in Kimberley, BC on February 20, 2012.
Please bring your copy of the collective agreement to the training course.
